Data processing related to Google Analytics™
This website uses the web analysis service "Google Analytics" provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the responsible entity for data processing on this website has its headquarters outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the relevant data processing for Google Analytics is carried out by Google LLC. (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC are hereinafter referred to as "Google"). When connecting the website to Google Analytics, data processing is carried out by Jimdo. Please refer to Jimdo's privacy policy here, and to KDDI Web Communications, which provides Jimdo in Japan, here.
Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files stored on the computer of site visitors, to analyze the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website (including the truncated IP address) is usually transmitted to and stored by Google.
On this website, Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This extension ensures anonymization by truncating the IP address and precludes any direct personal reference. With this extension, Google truncates the IP addresses of site visitors within the Member States of the European Union or other Contracting States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional circumstances will the full IP address of the site visitor be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address provided by the site visitor's browser when using Google Analytics will not be combined by Google with other Google data.
On behalf of the website operator, Google will use the collected information to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other website and internet related services to the website operator (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in the optimization of this website, the analysis of website use and content adaptation. The interests of users are adequately protected by the pseudonymization of the data.
Google guarantees to maintain an adequate level of data protection on the basis of the European Standard Contractual Clauses. The data transmitted to and linked to Google Analytics cookies (e.g. user IDs and advertising IDs) are automatically deleted after 50 months. The deletion of data that has reached the retention period is carried out automatically once a month.
Visitors can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser. You can also prevent Google from collecting information via cookies (including your IP address) and processing this information by installing the following browser plug-in: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Visitors can prevent data collection by Google Analytics on this website by clicking on the cookie settings. An opt-out cookie will then be applied, which will prevent the visitor's data from being collected in the future when visiting this website.
For more information on Google's terms of use and privacy policy, please see the Google Analytics Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
In accordance with the GDPR and related laws, visitors have certain rights regarding their data processed by Google Analytics, including in particular the rights of access, rectification, data portability, and deletion. Visitors also have the right to object to certain data processing. To exercise these rights regarding Google Analytics on this website, data subjects (visitors) can contact Jimdo or the website operator at any time.
